This year, 2nd grade decided to show Mom some love by creating these word clouds that show just how crazy they are about their Mothers! They were provided with a list of adjectives and such that they could use to express how they felt about their moms. They then typed the words into a word cloud program after which they manipulated the formatting, colors and fonts.
Students created a slideshow movie that takes us through the ABCs of their lives! Beginning with the letter 'A', students were supposed to find things that begin with a letter that either described them or held some sort of significance in their lives. Check out some of the featured videos below.

YouTube is famous for hosting thousands upon thousands of “how-to” videos. TMS's 6th grade students had the chance to show what they knew and created their own “Short-torial” by using screencasting software. Screencasting allows you to record whatever action that is taking place on your computer screen. In most instances, you can add narration. For this assignment, TMS students were the teachers! They were able to choose the tutorial they wanted to present. Some students chose to feature video games or how to customize athletic footwear. Others went the more academic route and created videos about using Google Earth or making basic websites to name a few. Below are a sampling of the videos the students created.
TMS 3rd graders used Animoto to create movies about Georgia and federal politicians. Before creating the movie, they had to conduct research about their assigned politician in order to have enough content to create their movie. They began the research by responding to the research questions below.
